Mississippi Mud Pie to die for with Rossini Candonga!

Carola, Lorenzo Canella’s wife, has paired the cocktail with a classic Mississippi Mud Pie from the ‘Queen of Chocolate’, Linda Collister (cf. Carola’s blog, “La casetta delle pesche”), and checked the pairing out for you. (A tough job, but somebody’s got to do it…)

The pie’s base is a mixture of crushed Digestive biscuits, dark chocolate and butter, while the filling is pure dreamy, creamy chocolate delight – all topped by cocoa-richened whipped cream and a sprinkling of icing sugar. The blend of diverse textures is a real treasure, best savored by using the very finest chocolate and cocoa and served with our Rossini Candonga.
