The legendary festival has confirmed its love affair with the Venetian cocktail: performers and insiders will be able to relax, chat and toast to the “Italian Grammy”’s smashing success at a new venue, Lounge Diffitalia, in the exclusive ambiance of the Royal Hotel, from February 4th through Feb. 10th.
Formerly the headquarters of popular tv magazine Sorrisi e Canzoni TV, Lounge Diffitalia is set to become a hub for music and lifestyle trends. Elegant and functional, it comprises an American bar, hosts tastings of typical fare cooked by top-rated chefs, and supplies live entertainment with the “Nientedimeno Band”.
Lounge Diffitalia will resonate with Sanremo vibes, channeled by Radio Subasio, whose broadcast presenters Fabiana Bisulli and Alessandra Barzaghi will alternately welcome and interview festival personalities and zero in on the sensations and behind-the-scenes tidbits of the song contest.
The luxurious hotel, which has traditionally accommodated many of the stars taking part in the Sanremo Festival, will provide not only interviews and special guests, makeup and hairstyling sessions, scrumptious food and relaxation for celebrities, journalists, musicians and insiders, but aperitifs and evening parties for the happy few provided with the exclusive Diffitalia badge, who will be able to enjoy their Bellini and Rossini by Canella in sparkling company.
